About this event

West Park International Music Festival as an opportunity for local and foreign musicians to perform music on the Upper West Side neighborhood of New York City. The Music Festival goal is to promote local and foreign talents in a wonderful venue with professional production elements. The acoustics and ample space of West Park provide a unique experience for musicians not often found in NYC. The Music Festival will include Pop, Soul, Funk, Blues, Country and many more contemporary music genres. This momentous event is designed to showcase, highlight and promote talent as well as foster an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

A memorial service for Rev. Dr. Robert Laird Brashear, HR (West-Park Presbyterian Church) will be held at Broadway Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 4:00 PM. *Clergy are invited to robe (details below). The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend.

A Bob Brashear Memorial Fund has been set up through the Presbyterian Foundation on the Presbytery’s website. The link to the donation page can be found below. The donation page will close after the service in mid-November.
Donations to the fund will be distributed to Bob’s three children to assist them in offsetting any unexpected costs they have incurred/may incur during these challenging times.
